Insurance

Priority One Ambulance participates with most major insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare. Bills are sent directly to insurance companies, Medicaid and Medicare, allowing for timely and accurate payment. Our staff can assist you in obtaining insurance pre-authorization if necessary. For those patients with no coverage, payment is expected at time of transport. Therefore, we accept cash, check and credit cards.

Privacy/HIPPA

Priority One Ambulance respects the personal and private issues of each of its patients, and is in compliance with current HIPAA standards including:

• Every employee attends HIPAA compliance class and is given a copy of the HIPAA regulations.
• All patient information and documentation is kept on secure computers with restricted access or is filed in locked cabinets.
